The Apprenticship Program
The Santal Academy is our apprenticeship program designed to develop the next generation of exceptional hairstylists through real-world, hands-on education.
Unlike the traditional beauty school model, Santal Academy apprentices learn alongside our Elite Stylists in a luxury salon environment, gaining practical experience with real guests every day. Apprentices are students and are not yet licensed professionals. Every service they perform is part of their education and is completed under the guidance and mentorship of experienced Santal educators.
This approach allows apprentices to build confidence, master technical skills, and develop the elevated guest experience that defines Santal from the very beginning of their careers.

Our Current Services
Our Academy currently offers a curated selection of services, including signature blowouts, glossing and shine treatments, deep conditioning treatments, root retouches, and all-over hair color.
Our service menu is intentionally limited and will continue to evolve as our apprentices advance through their education, demonstrate proficiency, and master new techniques. This approach ensures that every service aligns with their current level of training while maintaining the standards of care that define Santal.
What to Expect During Your Appointment
Academy appointments are a little different from traditional salon visits. Services are performed by apprentices who are actively completing their cosmetology education under the guidance and supervision of our experienced Elite Stylists.
Your appointment begins with a thorough consultation, followed by a carefully guided service. Throughout your visit, an Elite Stylist may offer instruction, check your apprentice's work, or assist with technical decisions as part of the learning process.
Academy appointments typically require more time than traditional services, allowing our apprentices to work thoughtfully, ask questions, and refine their techniques without feeling rushed.
